Bm

Bm She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene

Em I said don`t mind but what do you mean, I am the one

Bm Who will dance on the floor in the round

Em She said I am the one

Bm Who will dance on the floor in the round?

Bm She told me her name was Billie Jean as she caused a scene.

Bm Then ev`ry head turned with eyes that dreamed

Em Of being the one,

Bm Who will dance on the floor in the round

G BmPeople always told me, be careful what you do.

G BmAnd don`t go around breaking young girls' hearts

G BmAnd mother always told me, be careful who you love,

G F#7And be careful what you do, `cause the lie becomes the truth, hey

Bm Billie Jean is not my lover,

Em She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

Bm But the kid is not my son

Em She says I am the one,

Bm But the kid is not my son

BmFor forty days and forty nights, law was on her side

EmBut who can stand when she`s in demand, her schemes and plans

Bm`Cause we danced on the floor in the round.

Em BmSo take my strong advice: Just remember to always think twice

BmShe told my baby we danced till three, and she looked at me,

BmThen showed a photo. My baby cried.

EmHis eyes were like mine.

BmCan we dance on the floor in the round?

G BmPeople always told me, be careful what you do.

G BmAnd don`t go around breaking young girls' hearts

G BmBut you came and stood right by me, just a smell of sweet perfume.

G F#7This happened much too soon. She called me to her room, hey

Bm Billie Jean is not my lover,

Em She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

Bm But the kid is not my son

Bm Billie Jean is not my lover,

Em She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

Bm But the kid is not my son

Em She says I am the one,

Bm But the kid is not my son

Bm

Em She says I am the one,

Bm But the kid is not my son

Bm Billie Jean is not my lover,

Em She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

Bm But the kid is not my son

Em She says I am the one,

Bm But the kid is not my son

Bm She says I am the one,

Bm She says he is my son

Bm She says I am the one,

Bm Billie Jean is not my lover....
