A#m

A#m She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene

D#m I said don`t mind but what do you mean, I am the one

A#m Who will dance on the floor in the round

D#m She said I am the one

A#m Who will dance on the floor in the round?

A#m She told me her name was Billie Jean as she caused a scene.

A#m Then ev`ry head turned with eyes that dreamed

D#m Of being the one,

A#m Who will dance on the floor in the round

F# A#mPeople always told me, be careful what you do.

F# A#mAnd don`t go around breaking young girls' hearts

F# A#mAnd mother always told me, be careful who you love,

F# F7And be careful what you do, `cause the lie becomes the truth, hey

A#m Billie Jean is not my lover,

D#m She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

A#m But the kid is not my son

D#m She says I am the one,

A#m But the kid is not my son

A#mFor forty days and forty nights, law was on her side

D#mBut who can stand when she`s in demand, her schemes and plans

A#m`Cause we danced on the floor in the round.

D#m A#mSo take my strong advice: Just remember to always think twice

A#mShe told my baby we danced till three, and she looked at me,

A#mThen showed a photo. My baby cried.

D#mHis eyes were like mine.

A#mCan we dance on the floor in the round?

F# A#mPeople always told me, be careful what you do.

F# A#mAnd don`t go around breaking young girls' hearts

F# A#mBut you came and stood right by me, just a smell of sweet perfume.

F# F7This happened much too soon. She called me to her room, hey

A#m Billie Jean is not my lover,

D#m She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

A#m But the kid is not my son

A#m Billie Jean is not my lover,

D#m She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

A#m But the kid is not my son

D#m She says I am the one,

A#m But the kid is not my son

A#m

D#m She says I am the one,

A#m But the kid is not my son

A#m Billie Jean is not my lover,

D#m She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

A#m But the kid is not my son

D#m She says I am the one,

A#m But the kid is not my son

A#m She says I am the one,

A#m She says he is my son

A#m She says I am the one,

A#m Billie Jean is not my lover....
