G#m

G#m She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene

C#m I said don`t mind but what do you mean, I am the one

G#m Who will dance on the floor in the round

C#m She said I am the one

G#m Who will dance on the floor in the round?

G#m She told me her name was Billie Jean as she caused a scene.

G#m Then ev`ry head turned with eyes that dreamed

C#m Of being the one,

G#m Who will dance on the floor in the round

E G#mPeople always told me, be careful what you do.

E G#mAnd don`t go around breaking young girls' hearts

E G#mAnd mother always told me, be careful who you love,

E D#7And be careful what you do, `cause the lie becomes the truth, hey

G#m Billie Jean is not my lover,

C#m She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

G#m But the kid is not my son

C#m She says I am the one,

G#m But the kid is not my son

G#mFor forty days and forty nights, law was on her side

C#mBut who can stand when she`s in demand, her schemes and plans

G#m`Cause we danced on the floor in the round.

C#m G#mSo take my strong advice: Just remember to always think twice

G#mShe told my baby we danced till three, and she looked at me,

G#mThen showed a photo. My baby cried.

C#mHis eyes were like mine.

G#mCan we dance on the floor in the round?

E G#mPeople always told me, be careful what you do.

E G#mAnd don`t go around breaking young girls' hearts

E G#mBut you came and stood right by me, just a smell of sweet perfume.

E D#7This happened much too soon. She called me to her room, hey

G#m Billie Jean is not my lover,

C#m She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

G#m But the kid is not my son

G#m Billie Jean is not my lover,

C#m She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

G#m But the kid is not my son

C#m She says I am the one,

G#m But the kid is not my son

G#m

C#m She says I am the one,

G#m But the kid is not my son

G#m Billie Jean is not my lover,

C#m She's just a girl who claims that I am the one

G#m But the kid is not my son

C#m She says I am the one,

G#m But the kid is not my son

G#m She says I am the one,

G#m She says he is my son

G#m She says I am the one,

G#m Billie Jean is not my lover....
